If you are flying to Italy, you can find coaches and airport transfers, with daily links with Geneva and Italy.
The SNCF station at the resort is connected to the Mont Blanc Express line which serves all villages from St Gervais-les-Bains-le Fayet to Martigny (Switzerland – directly connected to the “Léman Express” network), including Servoz, Les Houches, Chamonix, Argentière and Vallorcine.
The St Gervais-les-Bains-le Fayet station, 20km away from Chamonix, is connected to the French railway network of both regional (TER) and national high-speed train (TGV) network.

From November 1st 2023 until March 31st, 2024, light vehicles, utility vehicles and camper vans must:
From France: Direct access via the A40 (“White Motorway”) linked to the European motorway network.
From Switzerland: Motorway to Martigny, Col de la Forclaz then Col des Montets.
From Italy: 15 km from the border via the Mont Blanc Tunnel.
